Procurement Specialist for Rail and Heavy Industry

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team in a role that requires effective management of procurement, purchasing, and inventory control activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy industry, particularly in rail, with expertise in purchasing, stores, inventory, supply chain, and related areas. Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. Familiarity with systems such as M1, SAP, Oracle, Mincom, or Maximo is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities include monitoring and controlling inventory levels, managing purchasing and ordering activities, maintaining accurate records, and improving processes. The successful candidate will also interface with suppliers, trades, and management teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading provider of engineering and maintenance services in the rail industry, with a flat reporting structure offering exposure to all areas of the business and career progression opportunities.
