About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate mental health professional to join our team at Access Psych. As a Clinical Mental Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health support to clients across various services, including Workers Compensation Schemes, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and Medicare.

As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with clients, medical and allied health professionals, case managers, and employers to assist individuals in returning to work and fully re-engaging with the community. Your expertise will be essential in providing evidence-based mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients with a range of mental health conditions and outcome goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients with various mental health conditions and outcome goals;
  • Work collaboratively with clients, medical and allied health professionals, case managers, and employers to assist individuals in returning to work and fully re-engaging with the community;
  • Complete assessments and interventions using your clinical skills;
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational and regulatory standards;
  • Must be able to see clients face-to-face but can be a hybrid TH/F2F role.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications and requirements:

  • General Psychologist Registered AHPRA; or
  • Accredited Mental Health Social Worker – AASW; or
  • Qualified Counsellor ACA level 3 or level 4 and/or Full Clinical PACFA membership;
  • You have permanent residency in Australia;
  • You are passionate about improving lives through work and health;
  • You want to be part of a dynamic, social, and hard-working team;
  • Interest and willingness to work with workers compensation clients.
