About the Role

The Early Career Pharmacist - Mental Health position is part of the Early Career Mental Health Program for the Victorian Department of Health. This program aims to support early career pharmacists in developing their knowledge, skills, and abilities across various settings and teams within adult and older adult services of the mental health and wellbeing program.

In this role, you will work in partnership with consumers, families, carers, supporters, and other service providers to deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy and mental health treatment, care, and support. You will receive support from more senior team members, a dedicated pharmacist educator, and a structured learning and development program focusing on growth, reflective practice, supervision, and self-care.

This opportunity is designed for new or recent graduates, with specific training and development opportunities related to mental health care provided as part of the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy and mental health treatment, care, and support
  • Work in partnership with consumers, families, carers, supporters, and other service providers
  • Participate in a structured learning and development program
