People and Culture Specialist

As a key player in our organisation, you will be responsible for ensuring both short-term and long-term objectives are met.

The role involves using relevant systems to process all employee documentation for Western Australia and South Australia. You will also lead the organisation of employee recognition programs, such as regular celebration of employee Service Awards, birthdays and employee of the quarter.

You will work closely with Payroll to ensure that both People & Culture and Payroll systems align correctly. Additionally, you will support the Talent Resources Coordinator - WA, including arranging interviews and scheduling Pre-employment medicals.

An important aspect of this role is ensuring that HRIS is operating effectively, including being the system administrator for People & Culture data and implementing system upgrades/new modules for Western Australia and South Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role within the industry
  • Advanced knowledge/experience of Microsoft Programs, specifically Windows and Excel
  • Tertiary qualification in a related field, such as Human Resources Management
  • Customer focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail with great organisation skills and ability to prioritise
