Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Driver who has a Stores / Warehousing background to be a part of our growing team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and delivery services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring that goods are properly secured and stored.
  • Delivery and Customer Service: Deliver goods and products to customer sites, providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle at all times, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Order Fulfillment: Prepare and complete orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring that products are properly packaged and labeled.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with stocktaking and reconciliation, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Warehouse Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, where you have enjoyed a mix of driving and stores.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, coupled with customer contact.
  • Licenses: Essential that you have a current and uninhibited Medium Rigid (MR) Licence. Forklift License is desirable.
