Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Counter Sales/Storesperson Team Member to join our Hervey Bay branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving branch success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Counter Sales: Provide outstanding customer service and build relationships with customers, trade clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Order Processing: Receive and process customer sales orders and credit returns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Delivery Coordination: Coordinate daily deliveries and ensure that orders are supplied correctly and dispatched on time.
  • Warehouse Liaison: Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure seamless order fulfillment and dispatch.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate the ability to deliver outstanding customer service and build relationships with customers.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail while multitasking and processing orders.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Basic experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
  • Driver's License: Hold a current and uninhibited C Class Driver's Licence.
  • Forklift License: Possess a forklift license, which is desirable but not essential.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade Counter Sales Experience: Customer service experience in trade counter sales is highly regarded.
