Insurance Risk Specialist Role

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Apply risk management strategies to target markets and accounts within your area of expertise.
  • Evaluate and underwrite insurance risks in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
  • Support account management and procurement efforts by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor team members, provide guidance, and pursue professional development opportunities.
  • Manage the insurance portfolio, including processing, credit management, documentation, and risk servicing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including agents, brokers, clients, and partners.
About You
  • Experience in insurance risk management, liability underwriting, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and risk analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in risk evaluation and coverage determination.
  • Problem-solving skills for complex risk scenarios and negotiations.
  • Customer-focused approach to understanding and meeting client needs.
  • Experience with Pricing, Portfolio Management, and intermediary account management.
  • Relevant industry qualifications or certifications.
