The Insurance Specialist role plays a pivotal part in supporting regional leadership and global insurance teams to drive effective risk and insurance management across a diverse portfolio.

This standalone position offers autonomy and responsibility, requiring an experienced professional with a strong background in insurance within the O&G or marine sectors and a solid understanding of regional requirements and operational risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage annual renewals of personnel and commercial insurance policies across various Asia Pacific countries
  • Coordinate all insurance claims efficiently
  • Provide strategic and operational insurance advice to ensure adequate cover across departments and projects
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners
  • Support compliance and planning for regional insurance initiatives
  • Ensure all insurance-related activities align with industry best practices
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience in insurance or risk management within the oil & gas, marine, or offshore industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in Legal Studies, Finance, Risk Management, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of the Asia Pacific regulatory environment and operational offshore activities
  • Confident in managing insurance portfolios and driving compliance
  • A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
