About the Role

This is a newly reviewed position within our Business Services team, seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join us as a Risk and Assurance Officer. This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis, reporting to the Risk and Assurance Manager and working from our office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level support to deliver a systematic approach to effective risk management, business continuity, and crisis planning activities.
  • Administer and maintain Brightwater's contract management system, including monitoring and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to identify opportunities for quality improvement in all duties.
  • Develop and implement complex and detail-orientated systems, such as risk management and business continuity.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and problem-solving to ensure stability of performance under pressure.
  • Utilize strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications, to manage work processes involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Work autonomously with minimal instruction and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Tertiary degree and qualifications in Business, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a relevant business or consulting role.
  • Proven experience in providing support in implementing and maintaining complex systems.
  • Results-orientated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized professional with the ability to multi-task and manage work processes.
  • Strong computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
