About the Role

This is a key position within Glencore where you will support the team to ensure the Health, Safety, Environment, and Community systems and processes meet or exceed both Company and Legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an annual and three-year internal assurance program that meets Ravensworth Operations, GCAA, and legislative requirements.
  • Understand your role in monitoring Catastrophic and Fatal hazards compliance and support hazard and control owners.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in internal and external assurance and compliance audits in-line with the annual audit schedule.
  • Develop and retain strong knowledge of the functionality and application of the HSEC Compliance systems.
  • Ongoing development and implementation of a robust assurance and compliance strategy across the operation.

Requirements

  • Curiosity to plan, coordinate, and complete assurance activities.
  • High attention to detail to be able to schedule, coordinate, and participate in verification activities.
  • Ability to coordinate self and others.
  • Work in a manner which supports confidentiality.
