The Medical Oncology Consultant will deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in the Medical Oncology Department, demonstrating expertise in both individual performance and leadership within a multidisciplinary care framework. They will engage in teaching medical students, trainee medical officers, and relevant Nursing and Allied Health professionals. Additionally, they will actively participate in clinical audit, quality and safety management, clinical risk assessment, research endeavors, and ongoing medical education initiatives.

Requirements

  • Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Medical Oncology
  • On RACP training program within 6 months of completing fellowship
  • Hold or be eligible for the FRACP
  • IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
  • IMG's with RACP interview date
  • IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable
