About the Role

Central Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a skilled Senior Clinical/Health Psychologist to join our dedicated team within the cancer PREVENT Program. This innovative allied health-led model of care at the Royal Adelaide Hospital provides essential psychology services to inpatients during the acute phase of their cancer treatment.

As a Senior Clinical/Health Psychologist, you will play a vital role in optimising the mental health, physical health, and overall wellbeing of patients. Your expertise will be instrumental in collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that patients receive holistic support tailored to their unique needs.

About You

We're looking for a compassionate and experienced clinician who possesses the following key qualifications and attributes:

  • Qualifications: Hold a Master's Degree in Clinical or Health Psychology, be registered with the PsychBA, endorsed in your area of practice, and hold approved supervisor status with the PsyBA at all levels of supervision.
  • Expertise in Assessment and Intervention: Ability to independently design and evaluate complex evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions for cancer patients.
  • Collaborative Communicator: Strong skills in communication, teamwork, and the ability to provide specialist consultancy to various stakeholders.
