Job Overview

We seek a highly skilled Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning professional to join our team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement monitoring, evaluation and learning strategies across various initiatives.
  • Collaborate with initiative leads to understand needs and design effective approaches.
  • Design and manage programs on a page, commissioning external consultants when necessary.
  • Analyse data to ensure quality control and alignment with set indicators.
  • Submit ethics-related documents and monitor reporting.
MEL Strategy and Portfolio Alignment
  • Design and implement monitoring, evaluation and learning strategies that meet portfolio requirements.
  • Develop theories of change for the impact portfolio, aligning with organisational strategy and approach.
  • Communicate the MEL strategy effectively across the portfolio, setting key performance indicators with senior leadership.
Knowledge Sharing and Translation
  • Foster knowledge sharing and translation of organisational learnings from MEL activities.
  • Develop and share knowledge-sharing assets and iterative learning within teams.
  • Contribute evidence from MEL activities to support organisational growth.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in public health, psychology or a related field.
  • Experience designing and delivering research projects.
  • End-to-end project management experience in MEL (approximately 10 years).
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working with health professionals or within health settings.
  • Commissioning and working with external consultants.
  • Oncology/cancer experience is highly regarded.
