Customer Engagement Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to drive customer engagement and retention strategies across Australia, New Zealand, and the APAC region. The ideal candidate will lead CRM campaigns that deliver high-impact communications across email and app, working closely with digital and cross-functional teams to shape data-led strategies and optimise lifecycle journeys.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute CRM strategies that align with commercial priorities and deliver a cohesive customer experience.
  • Plan, deploy, and manage email marketing campaigns to contribute to session, revenue, and conversion targets.
  • Manage database health to maintain strong deliverability and IP reputation, ensuring timely action on any required improvements.
  • Drive database growth by executing strategies that attract, engage, and retain customers in line with target metrics.

The successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of the JD Sports customer lifecycle, developing and implementing test-and-learn strategies to optimise communications across all channels and customer lifecycle stages. They will also define segmented and promotional email and app communication plans aligned with broader campaign messaging.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within Retail or like industry.
  • Experience of working within an app platform is preferred but not essential.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in relevant field of study highly advantageous.
