We are currently seeking a permanent opportunity for a Safety Applications Specialist to become a vital part of our Safety team, primarily operating within the Melbourne area. This role will involve providing assistance to our clients on various projects across Victoria and Australia, necessitating regular travel.
Your Responsibilities:
In this position, you will deliver services aligned with our Safety Rental Services and Training divisions. Your essential duties will include:
• Conducting inspections, assessments, and evaluations of workplace environments, equipment, and practices;
• Collecting samples of potentially hazardous materials;
• Demonstrating the proper usage of safety equipment;
• Assisting in the investigation of incidents and accidents;
• Participating in the assembly and testing of products and equipment;
• Monitoring and reporting on rental inventory levels;
• Coordinating the replacement of rental equipment and ensuring sufficient levels of consumables are maintained;
• Sourcing and procuring third-party equipment as necessary;
• Performing maintenance, repairs, and testing of products and equipment;
• Keeping accurate service records;
• Utilizing your expertise to enhance and add value to processes;
• Ensuring all service tasks are completed promptly; and
• Delivering a reliable and efficient level of service that reflects positively on Dräger.
Your Profile:
The ideal candidate will be flexible to meet customer needs and will thrive both independently and as part of a team. Your qualifications and skills should include:
• A proactive and positive mindset;
• Relevant experience in a similar role;
• Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation and diagrams;
• Capability to understand technical challenges and provide effective solutions;
• Competence in performing routine arithmetic calculations;
• Familiarity with pricing structures and gross margins;
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities;
• Proficiency in computer operations and Microsoft applications; and
• A valid Driver's License.
