Star HR is seeking a highly skilled Lead Psychologist and Rehabilitation Expert to join their dedicated team in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and confident Senior Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor to take on a leadership role and make a meaningful impact in the field of workplace rehabilitation.

About the Role

This challenging and rewarding role involves providing high-quality return-to-work services to corporate clients, including law firms and banks. As a Lead Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individual rehabilitation plans, and providing medical management services to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored rehabilitation plans for clients with mental health presentations.
  • Provide medical management services, case conferencing, and case management to support clients' vocational journeys.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through effective communication and report writing.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client resilience and promote positive psychology.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, time management, and written skills, with a passion for providing quality and client-centered rehabilitation services. With experience in workplace rehabilitation and a tertiary qualification in Psychology (full registration or provisional) or Rehabilitation Counselling (Membership with RCAA or ASORC), you will be well-equipped to thrive in this dynamic role.
