As a key player in paediatric healthcare, the role of Associate Genetic Counsellor is pivotal in helping young people live their healthiest lives. You will work under the supervision of a clinical geneticist to provide information and genetic counselling support to clients and their families.

This exciting position involves:
- Delivering expert genetic counselling services
- Facilitating genetic testing as part of our clinical genetic services
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A postgraduate qualification in genetic counselling or equivalent
- Board eligible status in genetic counselling from the Human Genetics Society of Australasia (HGSA)
- Advanced reasoning skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The successful applicant will be required to work across various sites within the network, including Randwick and Westmead. They must be committed to ongoing education and certification as a genetic counsellor.
