Portfolio Manager Job Description

As a seasoned retail professional, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the commercial and operational success of our major retail precinct in Western Sydney. This exciting opportunity calls for an experienced leader with a proven track record in managing complex retail environments.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in retail property, with a minimum of 12 years' experience in asset or portfolio management. A successful history of leading cross-functional teams, coupled with excellent financial and commercial acumen, is essential for this role.

The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for unifying delivery and performance across leasing, marketing, facilities, and centre operations. You'll work closely with Directors to shape the precinct's long-term commercial and brand strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

This is a senior executive position that offers a competitive remuneration package, including a performance-based bonus. You'll also have access to a brand-new Sydney CBD office, designed to foster collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all core precinct functions: leasing, centre management, marketing, compliance, and operations
  • Take full ownership of the precinct P&L – budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Guide tenancy mix decisions in collaboration with leasing partners and Directors
  • Strengthen team alignment, operational governance, and reporting discipline
  • Maintain oversight of tenant performance, experience, and retention
