Senior Operations Leader

We are seeking a skilled Senior Operations Leader to drive our Regional WHSE function across multiple sites in Melbourne and South Australia. This role will lead the Regional WHSE team, developing and implementing strategic plans to optimise operational efficiency and sustainability.

The ideal candidate will have experience in engaging with stakeholders and advancing the WHSE strategy through enabling a unified culture. They will possess excellent communication skills, be a positive thinker, and have demonstrated leadership capabilities with well-developed team leadership skills.

About this Role:

  • Lead the Regional WHSE function, developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve operational excellence
  • Drive a high-performance culture that optimises operational efficiency and sustainability
  • Coach and mentor Operational line leaders in WHSE
  • Facilitate activities which drive or embed WHSE initiatives
  • Support site management teams to implement CSR key risk programs, system standards and hazard standards

About You:

  • Proven leadership capabilities with well-developed team leadership skills
  • Able to engage and work with multiple stakeholders at various levels
  • Demonstrated ability to inform strategy, deliver systems and work to standards
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
