The Reconciliations Team

The Reconciliations team plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of IBOR data by reconciling it against custodian and clearer records for both global and local portfolios. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the team effectively manages multiple deliverables and stakeholder needs as part of its daily operations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, monitor, and authorize daily functional responsibilities across reconciliations, redistributing resources where necessary to ensure timely and accurate completion of team deliverables and controls.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for associates, maintaining the capability to complete output in a supporting role as necessary, including resolving escalated issues.
  • Assist in training and cross-training of the unit, department crew members, and new crew members on various job responsibilities as assigned.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of current policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities, make recommendations, and lead process improvement initiatives to gain efficiencies and ensure quality.
  • Ensure adherence to the risk and control framework established in the team, understanding audit requirements and maintaining appropriate documentation to support audits.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external clients and business partners, leading regular communication with banks to ensure resolution of outstanding rec items.
  • Participate and/or lead special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • A minimum of two years of business-related experience.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to understand complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft applications preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills; team player with a positive attitude.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 and $90,000 AUD, depending on qualifications and experience.
