Job Title: Experienced Fitter WantedJob Description:We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Experienced Fitter. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely build, repair, servicing, and overhaul of all surface and underground equipment across workshops and operational sites.The ideal candidate will have relevant Australian trade qualification in Fitting/Mechanical and experience with underground and surface mining equipment. They will also possess strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, as well as the ability to train and mentor junior personnel.
  • Perform maintenance, servicing, and fault-finding on surface and underground equipment
  • Conduct statutory servicing and testing with complete documentation
  • Work across surface, underground, and Perth workshops
  • Ensure high standards of repair quality and cost control
  • Manage daily and weekly maintenance reporting and payroll submission
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining workshop stock and spare parts
  • Train and develop Level 1 and Level 2 Fitters - Drill in technical skills and knowledge
  • Ensure all tasks are conducted in compliance with EHS regulations
