Job Title

You will be responsible for leading projects addressing power system challenges from increasing Distributed Energy Resources (DER). This role involves collaborating with industry stakeholders to develop solutions that support a power system with high levels of DER.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead engineering analysis to define technical requirements for DER
• Drive stakeholder engagement and provide strategic advice to support an integrated approach
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop technical positions
• Prepare reports, recommendations, and presentations translating complex technical issues for executives, boards, and external stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior staff, and support initiatives under the Engineering Roadmap to 100% Renewables

Requirements
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Technology, Science, or Math (with a power system focus), or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience & Knowledge: Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary projects in distributed energy. Skilled in preparing, reviewing, and finalizing high-quality technical documentation and reports.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data. Effective communication skills across diverse audiences.
• Proactive, outcome-focused, and relationship builder.
• Desirable: Experience in the energy industry, especially in DER product or service development. Strong knowledge of power systems and electricity markets, with practical application skills.
