Inclusive Support Specialist

**Job Overview**
The Inclusive Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring students with disabilities have access to equitable educational opportunities.
This position supports the Disability Inclusion team by coordinating Learning Support Officers (LSOs) and allocating staff support for students, effectively managing timetables to ensure appropriate support is available.
The successful applicant will lead weekly inclusion team meetings, collaborate across teams to implement Social and Emotional Learning programs, contribute to writing Disability Inclusion Individual Education Plan (IEP) documents, and provide intensive 1:1 support for tier 3 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate LSO team and allocate staff support for students.
- Manage and allocate LSO timetables to ensure appropriate support is available.
- Coordinate wellbeing-informed classroom support.
- Support the implementation of individual support plans and behaviour plans.
- Lead weekly inclusion team meetings.
- Work across teams to implement Social and Emotional Learning programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in assessing and analysing wellbeing and inclusion issues.
- Ability to provide leadership and professional learning that informs and influences the work of others involved in engagement and wellbeing.
- Highly developed communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
- Clear understanding of legislative requirements regarding privacy of health information.
