Disability and Inclusion Support Specialist

The role of the Disability and Inclusion Support Professional is to facilitate effective inclusion programs for students within a school setting.
This position plays a pivotal role in coordinating team efforts around diverse learners, collaborating with leaders, sub-schools, and wellbeing staff. They also engage with external services and teams, liaising with key contacts and therapists.
Key responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Inclusion Leader, maintaining accurate records for students in the Inclusion Program, assisting with scheduling and timetabling, and coordinating specialist services for students with disabilities.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience and knowledge in supporting students with disabilities and additional needs, along with an excellent understanding of learning strategies and student engagement.
They will also possess experience and knowledge of the Disability Inclusion Profile or PSD funding process for diverse learners, as well as the capacity to work collaboratively within large teams and lead initiatives.
A minimum of four years' relevant experience is required for this position, including mandatory qualifications. The role demands strong organisational skills, prioritisation abilities, and proficiency in office systems and software.
The Disability and Inclusion Support Professional will be responsible for managing staff performance, resolving issues, and providing timely reports and advice on service provision and educational programs.
This is a professional student support position that requires a high level of expertise and experience in disability and inclusion administration.
