Our team is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Disability Inclusion Support Specialist.

About the Role

This position will play a vital role in supporting students, parents, and staff by handling administrative tasks related to disability inclusion.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Learning Specialist Inclusion and Authentic Learning and Disability Inclusion Teacher to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.

  • Coordinate scheduling for SSG meetings and Disability Inclusion Profile meetings.
  • Generate meeting minutes and maintain accurate storage of these files.
  • Collect feedback from classroom teachers for supported students and manage confidential documentation.
  • Respond to requests from allied health professionals and complete associated administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration and Communication
  • Work collaboratively with the Learning Specialist Inclusion and Authentic Learning and Disability Inclusion Teacher.
  • Effective communication skills to support students, parents, and staff.
Administrative Support
  • Scheduling and coordination of meetings and events.
  • Minute taking and document management.
  • Feedback collection and documentation.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks.
  • Capacity to work and collaborate with others in a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Possess technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position.
  • Ability to provide advice and support to management and other school staff.
