About The Role

The Assistant Store Manager position is a critical leadership role that plays a vital part in the success of our store operations. As a key member of our team, you will support the Store Manager in driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of store appearance and operational efficiency.

This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and direct the store team members to achieve their goals and objectives. You will be responsible for managing the store during the Store Manager's absence or when working opposing shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the store team in providing outstanding customer service to retail and professional customers.
  • Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on customer service programs.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak business hours.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to set team member goals, provide feedback on goal achievement, coach/mentor team members, and ensure they stay current on their individual training.
  • Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store.
  • Perform all opening/closing duties, including day-end procedures, verifying/securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits as needed, and checking/securing/locking delivery vehicle(s).
  • Support the Store Manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, and RSS Certification.
  • Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification (desired).
  • Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish being highly desirable.
