The Regional Float Pool Registered Nurse provides critical care support to inpatient units across Summa Health's Akron and Barberton Campuses.
This role involves delivering high-quality patient care by coordinating, delegating, and providing nursing services. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes and safe care delivery.
To be successful, the ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience as a registered nurse in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Critical Care, or Behavioral Health settings. Additional certifications such as ACLS, NIH, or NVCI may also be required.
Responsibilities- Support staffing needs across various inpatient units, including Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Critical Care, and Behavioral Health.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability across assigned units to meet unit needs.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Licensed to practice registered nursing in Ohio.
- At least one year of experience as a registered nurse in specialty areas.
- Fully range of motion and ability to lift/move patients.
- Corrected vision and hearing.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions or irregular hours.
