Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our dynamic team at Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. As a key member of our Community Mental Health Team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adults in our regional hospitals and communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions to adults in our region.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to promote client safety and well-being.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with best practices in mental health care.
- Hold a recognized qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work.
- Be eligible for registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. Psychology Board of Australia, Australian Association of Social Workers).
- Have experience working with adults in a mental health setting.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
