Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health Team in the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals and families affected by mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive mental health services for consumers in the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide individual and family therapeutic approaches, group programs, health promotion, and community development projects.
- Contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced mental health professionals, assistants, and students.
- Embody a strength-based approach and the principles of positive psychology to promote recovery and self-determination.
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a recognized Occupational Therapy qualification and be eligible for registration as an occupational therapist within Australia. You will also need to demonstrate a commitment to providing consumer and family-centered care within an evidence-based, recovery-oriented framework.
