Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Autonomous Field Support Engineer. This role involves the integration and commissioning of autonomy hardware, deploying and testing autonomous vehicle software and dynamic controls.

  • Integrate drive-by-wire and autonomy hardware, debug issues and ensure proper functionality.
  • Deploy and test autonomous vehicle software and dynamic controls in both production facilities and field settings.
  • Perform thorough test executions for new firmware, software or hardware.
  • Develop and implement test plans and schedules.
  • Develop detailed instructions for vehicle operators.
  • Regularly report and discuss findings with NPI development teams to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Able to travel frequently to mine sites.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or possess equivalent experience.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical and hardware installation.
  • Previous experience in field-follow support.
  • Able to work on FIFO rotations.
