Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as an Autonomy Hardware Specialist. This role will be responsible for the integration and commissioning of autonomy hardware, deploying and testing autonomous vehicle software and dynamic controls, and coordinating tests with asset managers.

The successful candidate will work closely with our autonomy engineers and management team to ensure the smooth operation of our autonomy solutions. The position is based in Perth, Australia, and requires frequent travel to mine sites.

This role involves:

  • Integrating, debugging, and commissioning drive-by-wire and autonomy hardware
  • Deploying and testing autonomous vehicle software and dynamic controls
  • Performing test execution for new firmware, software, or hardware
  • Developing test plans and schedules
  • Developing test instructions for vehicle operators
  • Regular reporting and discussions with NPI development teams to debug issues and provide product improvement suggestions
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • Basic hands-on vehicle electrical and hardware install experience
  • Previous field-follow experience and ability to work FIFO
