Casual Facilities Team Leader Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Casual Facilities Team Leader to oversee the efficient management of operations. This role involves overseeing daily operations, inspections, cost-saving measures, and supporting kitchen and events services teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations in line with business needs
  • Assist in monthly inspections to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety
  • Pursue cost-saving measures to enhance efficiency

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with chefs on food preparation and kitchen duties
  • Assist with receiving and storage of goods
  • Demonstrate proper use of chemicals and support other departments as needed

Guest Experience:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of crockery and cutlery according to HACCP guidelines
  • Provide assistance to customers when necessary

Responsible Business:

  • Collaborate with management on workplace health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Participate in investigations of injuries and illnesses
  • Report workplace hazards and assist in corrective actions
  • Wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
  • Use safety equipment and tools properly
  • Report workplace hazards and injuries

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
  • Strong understanding of HACCP guidelines
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE usage
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with various departments
