Facilities Operations Manager

This role involves leading the upkeep, safety and operations of two campuses. The successful candidate will manage a small team and contractors, overseeing building, grounds and utilities maintenance, ensuring Workplace Health and Safety compliance and supporting capital works.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property management principles, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A key aspect of this role is the ability to balance leadership and operational matters to ensure facilities are safe, functional and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate the upkeep and maintenance of all school facilities
- Supervise and support a small team of contractors and staff
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to maintenance and repair activities
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety regulations and policies
- Diploma or Certificate IV in a relevant field (e.g. facilities management, construction)
- Relevant work experience in a similar role
- Current driver's license and light rigid license
- Desirable: White card, working at heights, asbestos and scissor lift operator certification
