Job Title: Track Spray Technician

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled professional to join our team as a Track Spray Technician. This is a full-time position based out of Echuca/Melbourne, Victoria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining vegetation growth within rail corridors across Western Australia, New South Wales, Northern Territory, South Australia, and Victoria. The role requires regular working away from home, across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain vegetation growth within rail corridors
  • Work with a variety of equipment and tools
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve set targets
  • Ensure high standards of safety and quality

Requirements:

  • Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card
  • Current Rail Industry Competencies
  • Construction industry induction (white card)
  • Cat 1 Rail Medical
  • HR Licence
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Herbicide Training/Qualifications advantageous
  • Horticulture Qualifications & or Training advantageous
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Computer proficiency - using Tablets for documents
  • Good written and oral skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Physically fit and the ability to work autonomously and drive long distances
  • High attention to detail to maintain high standards and achieve set targets

As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete pre-employment CAT 1 Rail Medical which includes Drug and Alcohol test, references, and police check.
