About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Track Spray Technician to join our team. As a Rail Track Spray Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining vegetation growth within rail corridors.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that involves regular travel across multiple states. You will work in a dynamic environment and be part of a team that values safety, teamwork and career progression.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain vegetation growth within rail corridors
  • Work away from home regularly, across multiple states as required

Requirements

  • Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card
  • Current Rail Industry Competencies
  • Construction industry induction (white card)
  • Cat 1 Rail Medical
  • HR Licence
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Herbicide Training/Qualifications advantageous
  • Horticulture Qualifications & or Training advantageous
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Computer proficiency - using Tablets for documents
  • Good written and oral skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Physically fit and the ability to work autonomously and drive long distances
  • High attention to detail to maintain high standards and achieve set targets
  • An ability to consistently work within both our clients and GTE safety parameters
