Job Description

Ensure optimal productivity of the underground diamond drill fleet by achieving mechanical availability targets and maintenance-related KPIs.

The incumbent will oversee field service personnel at various Australian mine sites, providing direct and remote support for diagnosing and resolving technical issues. They will also identify training and knowledge gaps in staff and assist with both direct and indirect training, auditing machinery to update rebuild schedules and creating in-house documentation including safety and technical service bulletins, work instructions, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise field service personnel at multiple Australian mine sites
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to diagnose and resolve complex issues
  • Identify and address training and knowledge gaps among team members
  • Audit and maintain equipment rebuild schedules
  • Develop and maintain in-house documentation, such as safety protocols and technical guides
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 6-8 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in underground drill maintenance
  • Advanced hydraulic diagnosis and component knowledge
  • Relevant industry experience and expertise in mining operations
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams and contractors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
