Residential Care Manager

Baptist Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Care Manager to lead our well-appointed facility in Manjimup. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet and exceed all required standards.
Key Responsibilities- Actively promote and model the Values of the organisation through a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach that actively supports the achievement of an ongoing, meaningful life for each resident
- Manage and mentor staff, promoting a holistic, person-centered approach
- Oversee and ensure that the WH&S and Injury Management systems are effectively utilised through commitment, resourcing and active participation and engagement
- Lead the development of local initiatives to achieve the highest standard of care and services to the residents and which are responsive to their individual needs
- Work toward the achievement and maintenance of the center's occupancy, funding and budget targets
- Actively implement Clinical Governance actions and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Clinical Governance Framework of the organisation
- Tertiary level qualification in an appropriate field and/or broad-based and extensive experience in managing a diverse, dynamic and complex service
- Exceptional contemporary leadership skills, Postgraduate management qualification or achievement towards such qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership and performance management experience
- High level of experience and knowledge of the Aged Care industry, including contemporary issues, legislation and regulatory compliance, developments and opportunities, and application of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Proven high level of clinical competencies with excellent clinical analysis, interpretation and planning skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of person-centred support
- An understanding of financial management principles with the ability to interpret, act and deliver solid financial results
- A good understanding and experience of contemporary human resources practices and management practice
- Knowledge and commitment to Equal Opportunity and Diversity and demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC
- Ability to pass a National Police Check
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
- Willingness to obtain or provide proof of a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check
