- Oversee and ensure that the WH&S and Injury Management systems are effectively utilised through commitment, resourcing and active participation and engagement.
- Lead the development of local initiatives to achieve the highest standard of care and services to residents and which are responsive to their individual needs.
- Work toward the achievement and maintenance of the center's occupancy, funding and budget targets.
- Actively implement Clinical Governance actions and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Clinical Governance Framework of the organisation.
- Tertiary level qualification in an appropriate field and/or broad-based and extensive experience in managing a diverse, dynamic and complex service.
- Exceptional contemporary leadership skills, Postgraduate management qualification or achievement towards such qualifications.
- Demonstrated leadership and performance management experience.
- High level of experience and knowledge of the Aged Care industry, including contemporary issues, legislation and regulatory compliance, developments and opportunities, and application of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Proven high level of clinical competencies with excellent clinical analysis, interpretation and planning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of person-centred support.
- An understanding of financial management principles with the ability to interpret, act and deliver solid financial results.
- A good understanding and experience of contemporary human resources practices and management practice.
- Knowledge and commitment to Equal Opportunity and Diversity and demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC.
- Ability to pass a National Police Check.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical.
- Willingness to obtain or provide proof of a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check.
