As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet and exceed all required standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor staff, promoting a holistic, person-centered approach to care.
  • Oversee and ensure that the WH&S and Injury Management systems are effectively utilised through commitment, resourcing and active participation and engagement.
  • Lead the development of local initiatives to achieve the highest standard of care and services to residents and which are responsive to their individual needs.
  • Work toward the achievement and maintenance of the center's occupancy, funding and budget targets.
  • Actively implement Clinical Governance actions and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Clinical Governance Framework of the organisation.
Requirements
  • Tertiary level qualification in an appropriate field and/or broad-based and extensive experience in managing a diverse, dynamic and complex service.
  • Exceptional contemporary leadership skills, Postgraduate management qualification or achievement towards such qualifications.
  • Demonstrated leadership and performance management experience.
  • High level of experience and knowledge of the Aged Care industry, including contemporary issues, legislation and regulatory compliance, developments and opportunities, and application of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Proven high level of clinical competencies with excellent clinical analysis, interpretation and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of person-centred support.
  • An understanding of financial management principles with the ability to interpret, act and deliver solid financial results.
  • A good understanding and experience of contemporary human resources practices and management practice.
  • Knowledge and commitment to Equal Opportunity and Diversity and demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC.
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical.
  • Willingness to obtain or provide proof of a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check.
