About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to take on a challenging and rewarding position as an occupational health and safety advisor. As part of our team, you will be responsible for driving our safety culture and implementing site-specific policies and procedures.

You will work closely with management and staff to provide support, consultation, and advice on all aspects of health and safety. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Management and Staff:
  • Consulting, Advising, and Implementing Safety Policies and Procedures:
  • Assisting in the Implementation of Health and Safety Programs:
  • Conducting Health and Safety Inspections:
  • Investigating Incidents and Developing Corrective Actions:
  • Coordinating Injury Management and Return-to-Work Programs:
  • Delivering Health and Safety Training:
  • Managing and Developing Risk Assessments:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Formal Qualifications (Diploma or Higher) and Previous HSE Experience:
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills:
  • Ability to Develop and Deliver Education and Training Materials:
  • Experience in Incident Investigations, Risk Assessments, and Auditing:
  • Confidence and Ability to Build Rapport and Trust at All Levels:
  • A Good Working Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental Legislation and Standards:
