Process Improvement Lead

Job Summary:
Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Lead to drive process enhancement initiatives, provide technical support in metallurgical and process engineering, and lead modelling and simulation activities across all planning horizons.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and deliver solutions to operational challenges relating to safety, process performance, yield, and plant upgrades by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Engage stakeholders to understand operational needs and drive outcomes through effective communication and project management skills.
- Work closely with mine planning and geology teams to improve orebody knowledge and regression predictions, ensuring data-driven decision making.
- Lead and support projects from concept through design, execution, commissioning, and handover, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Evaluate and ensure the technical quality, integrity, and adequacy of process designs and changes, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety, with a strong understanding of operational risks and mitigation strategies.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the minerals processing industry, with direct operational and technical development exposure.
- At least 2 years' process engineering experience on major mineral processing projects, with a proven track record of delivering improvements and efficiencies.
