Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reporting and Process Improvement Analyst to join our team at the State of Washington's Department of Ecology. As a key member of our Toxics Cleanup Program, you will play a critical role in supporting complex legislative reporting requirements, process improvement, and compliance tracking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior-level professional analyses to management, staff, and customers regarding complex issues that impact programs and policies.
  • Develop and implement processes to enhance program performance in diverse areas such as cultural resources compliance, project management staff training, and supplier diversity.
  • Analyze financial data for complex legislative reporting and data to support potential policy changes within competitive grant programs and cleanup work.
  • Develop tracking tools and resources for compliance monitoring and implement tools, resources, and processes for Supplier Diversity outreach implementation and tracking.
  • Present complex financial data, including findings and recommendations for change, to management team and other groups as needed.
Requirements
  • A total of eight years of experience and/or education in business administration, public administration, health administration, law, environmental law, finance, economics, statistics, environmental management, environmental or public policy, or a related field.
  • Experience providing senior-level professional analyses to management, staff, and customers regarding complex issues that impact programs and policies.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $5,925 - $7,968 per month, depending on qualifications or rules of promotion. This position will have flexibility of a hybrid schedule, empowering work from home and office, providing less time in traffic and shrinking your carbon footprint. This position will be eligible for up to a 90% tele-work schedule.
