Job Title: Station Client Service Officer

This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional service to the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for the public, providing assistance and support to frontline officers.
  • Assist the officer in charge with service delivery and administrative tasks within the station.
  • Undertake counter duties, including taking and compiling crime reports, offender bail management, and contributing to the development of administrative systems and processes.
  • Use police computer databases, communication equipment, and other tools as required.
  • Receive and receipt property, including money, drugs, and weapons.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

This role is located at Logan Central Police Station, which is a busy 24-hour station. The successful candidate will be required to work a two-shift rotational roster, including weekends and public holidays. Shift, weekend, and public holiday penalty rates apply.

Selection Criteria:
  • Relevant experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
