
Acute Adult Inpatient Speech Pathologist Opportunity

Professionals in speech pathology play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care.
In this position, you will work as part of a dedicated team within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network to provide communication and swallowing services to an acute adult inpatient caseload. Your goal will be to deliver excellent patient outcomes through your clinical expertise and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Communication Services: Deliver high-quality communication and swallowing services to patients with complex needs.
- Clinical Expertise: Utilize advanced clinical skills to make a meaningful difference in patient care across the CALHN network.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Qualifications: Hold a recognised qualification in Speech Pathology and be eligible for full membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Clinical Skills: Demonstrate strong clinical skills, effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to work effectively with patients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Caseload Management: Thrive in managing a complex and high-acuity caseload with independence, using excellent organisational and problem-solving skills to deliver optimal care.
