Overview

Kairos Speech Therapy and Learning is a clinic in North Ryde that provides speech therapy and occupational therapy. We are growing and seeking a fun, passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team. This will be a 2-3 day part-time position. Our clinic is open from Mondays to Saturdays.

  • Bachelor or Master\'s Degree in Speech Pathology
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a speech pathologist
  • Can-do attitude, willingness to learn, passion, flexibility, honesty and reliability
  • Current driver\'s licence and own car
  • Full and current membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to build strong rapport with clients and their families
Responsibilities
  • Provide both in-clinic and mobile services
  • Administer assessments and therapy sessions with clients and their families/carers
  • Administer group therapy (social skills groups, language groups, School-readiness groups, literacy groups, social pairings)
  • Complete all documentation within an appropriate time frame (reports, progress notes, other documentation)
  • Liase with other professionals (teachers, educators, doctors, allied health professionals)
