Early Childhood Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at the YMCA WA's Newman Early Learning Centre. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement high-quality programs that meet the needs of individual children and reflect their interests, development, culture, and the YMCA's Approach to Learning.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and children, and provide support and guidance to ensure the well-being and safety of all.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date developmental records of children, as required by regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in developing and implementing programs, with a strong understanding of the National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012, the EYLF, and the NQF.
  • HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate, National Police Clearance, and Working with Children check.
  • Previous experience working in an Early Learning Centre.
