Human Factors Specialist: Mitigating Fatigue Risks

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of human factors and be able to contribute to the development of strategies to mitigate fatigue-related risks. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees.
- Provide expert advice on fatigue risk management across the business
- Assist in implementing and enhancing the Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS)
- Develop fatigue risk assessments specific to tasks and work contexts at the enterprise level
- Design and deliver fatigue management training programs
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A tertiary qualification in psychology, human factors, behavioural science, or a related field
- Experience managing fatigue risks in transportation or heavy industry environments
- Experience implementing or supporting Fatigue Risk Management Systems in a complex organisational setting
- Familiarity with bio-mathematical modelling tools used for fatigue prediction and analysis
