Fatigue Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Fatigue Risk Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our safety management systems and ensuring compliance with best practices.
This is a part-time position (20 hours/week) that involves working closely with our safety and operational teams to embed human factors solutions in our daily work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Manager, Human Performance and FRMS, to develop innovative strategies for managing human factors and fatigue risk.
- Work with the Safety Audit and Investigation teams to ensure assurance activities are completed effectively.
- Analyze crew safety reporting data and provide expert advice on risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide support to stakeholders on fatigue risk management and human factors solutions.
- Ensure compliance with the FRMS and HF sections of the SMS document site.
Requirements:
- Formal qualifications or equivalent experience in safety or aviation management.
- Practical experience with human factors and fatigue risk management principles.
- Proven ability to analyze data and provide reliable advice and recommendations.
- Strong communication, report writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable but not Essential:
- A high level of awareness of CASA requirements for managing human factors risk, including fatigue.
- Risk management experience.
- Experience with safety/quality management tools and fatigue analysis software.
