Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate retail leader to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager to manage and maximize the overall success of the store.

Your primary responsibility will be to create a customer-centric environment, achieve sales budgets, deliver consistent store standards, and manage costs. You will also train and coach the store team to deliver service excellence and achieve business objectives.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies that drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance operational efficiency.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A strong retail leadership background with a minimum of 2 years' experience working with a high-volume retailer.
  • At least 1 year of experience in retail management/supervision or similar.
  • Proven ability to lead a team with a focus on team engagement, including developing and training staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.

Other Information

Please note that this is a flexible retail roster position, requiring you to work either Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday. Additionally, as part of this process, you will be asked to complete a national police check.
