Job Title: Global Release Manager

About the Role
Are you a results-driven leader with expertise in global release pipeline stability? Do you thrive in collaborative environments and have a passion for delivering high-quality client and service updates?

We are seeking an exceptional Technical Producer to join our team as a Global Release Manager. As a key member of our Release Engineering team, you will play a hybrid role focused on ensuring global release pipeline stability while also serving as a liaison to Tencent for VALORANT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with engineers, QA, release managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client and service updates that support VALORANT's global and regional goals.
  • Define and refine delivery pipelines, tools, and processes to ensure efficient and effective execution.
  • Lead incident triage and escalation workflows to ensure release stability and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with Tech Leads and Product Managers to translate strategy into executable plans and stable operational practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Producer, Project Manager, or Development Manager on medium to large teams or across multiple organizations.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese and English; comfortable leading projects in both languages.
  • Proven experience managing execution for software or game teams, including cross-team coordination and release workflows.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across cultures and organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with China-based software development teams.
  • Familiarity with DevOps / release infrastructure tools (e.g. Jenkins, Perforce, Git, CI/CD systems, release automation tools).
