Transport Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Transport Infrastructure Specialist to join our team of experts in delivering high-quality transport projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering road infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our clients and communities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and design software packages such as 12D and AutoCAD. You will be responsible for creating detailed designs and drawings, working from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers, and mentoring and guiding younger team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and document transport infrastructure projects using relevant standards and procedures
  • Operate 12D and CAD software packages to create detailed designs and drawings
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure high-quality outputs
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver projects within client specifications and expectations
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in transport infrastructure design and delivery
  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in geometric design for MRWA and Austroads
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and focus on quality outputs
